Most Private Health Insurance companies will cover acupuncture treatment.

You are very welcome to come for an informal free 15 minute chat before committing to a course of acupuncture.  You can meet me, see the clinic and have an opportunity to ask questions.

Acupuncturists are always working to encourage the body’s systems to balance.  From balance comes health.

People usually begin with weekly acupuncture.  There is time to discuss your health in detail including presenting symptoms, general health, medical history, sleep, diet and other relevant factors.  You are encouraged to ask questions about acupuncture; for many people Oriental medicine is a new experience.

Acupuncture involves using fine needles which are placed gently in the skin at specific places.  Most people feel a slight, momentary sensation.  Some people notice a change in their health soon after treatment while others find the effects take longer or are more subtle.  An acupuncture session is often a relaxing experience.

Do get in touch if you have any questions.  More recently I've noticed interest in how acupuncture can help support good health in an uncertain world.  Preventative health care is a responsible way we can look after and care for ourselves.

A new option of TeleHealth is now available using phone and video calls.  As well as being able to talk, a remote session may include showing you how to use acupressure and moxa, qi gong balancing exercises and a guided meditation, all from your own home.
